How to Set Up Your Shisha (Step-by-Step Guide)

1) Set up the burner: Plug the burner in and switch it on. Turn the temperature dial to “5”.
2) Heat the coals: Place 4 coals on the burner and allow them to fully heat up (usually 10–15 minutes). The coals are ready when they are fully orange/glowing.
3) Prepare the coals: Using the tongs, carefully pick up each coal and gently blow off any excess ash to help even out the heat.
4) Place coals on the tray: Put all 4 coals onto the silver/gold heat tray on top of the shisha. Start with 4 coals (not 1–3) to get the flavour going properly.
5) Let it warm up: Wait about 5 minutes for the flavour to heat and infuse.
6) Start smoking: Inhale through the hose. It may take 1–2 minutes before it produces smooth smoke. If it feels too harsh, remove 1 coal.
7) Keep it smooth: Every 10–15 minutes, use the tongs to rotate the coals slightly to keep the heat even.
8) If smoke gets weak: Add the removed coal back on, or move the coals closer together for a few minutes.
9) Safety: Keep coals away from children/pets, never leave the burner unattended, and always use the tongs when moving coals.
